Benart - our Turkish distributor

At Green Hippo we always love to hear about the different projects that our Hippotizers are used on and all the hard work our international partners put into their jobs. In the spirit of this we have recently become aware of the very varied range of shows Benart, our distributor in Turkey, have been working on.

Benart have been Green Hippo’s distributor for the past 6 months and have worked tirelessly on TV, Music and Entertainment shows which have included events as prestigious as the 2010 European Capital of Culture Celebrations in Istanbul’s Taksim Square.

Utilising a Hippotizer Stage V3 and two Hippotizer Express’ to power an array of equipment, including ColorWEB, CurveLED, Barco and Lighthouse screens, Floor LED and a Wholehog lighting desk for control, Benart have successfully provided imaginative and diverse video and lighting to a variety of events.

The 2010 European Capitol of Culture Celebration in saw the Turkish premier of lighting and video being controlled via a single centre, using the Wholehog lighting desk with Artnet and a stage design incorporating Lighthouse R16 LED screens.

An extensive concept including CurveLED and ColorWEB as well as 60sqm LED flooring and LED back walls, was created for the TRT Müzik TV show.

The Fox TV show – Yavuz & Askin Songs and the Yetenek Sizsiniz Türkiye Show Program received a very distinctive arrangement using 48sqm of LED walls as well as ColorWEB and CurveLED to create the scenery and backdrop.

Last but certainly not least much attention was paid to the full circle CurveLED display suspended above the DJ box at the DJ Parti – Garanti Bank at Antalya Rixos Hotel, with ColorWEB making up the curved backwall design.

Looking at all the different shows and events Benart have been working on over some busy months, we confident that there will be more to report soon and we hope their steady stream of projects continues in 2010 and years to come, providing plenty of opportunities to tackle challenging new assignments.
