Dutch Fashion Awards 2010

The annual Dutch Fashion Awards is a celebratory moment for the fashion industry in this region. It stars the best of Holland’s fashion sector, and brings together  industry professionals and aims to boost innovative design.

On the 5th of November 2010, the fourth Dutch Fashion Awards took place at the Grote Kerk in The Hague. After the first two ceremonies were held at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam, the Dutch Fashion Foundation (DFF) was welcomed by the City of The Hague for the second time in a row.

The awards evening was held and presented in a church in The Hague. Dutch lighting company Jurlights were approached to bring to life the concept and content, created by Circus Family. They worked closely together on a tight budget and schedule to create a fabulous spectacle.

Hippotizer media servers were used to feed all the projectors for the mapping and the front screens. Menno Broere of Jurlights said

“The power off the Hippotizer to combine: Warping, Sync playback, Colour correction, Live input and lots more made it possible to map the whole show the night before the event!”

“Because the Hippotizer is a box solution it is possible to do these amazing things with smaller budgets. “
