Green Hippo joins Hi-Lights at the ICT exhibition in Cairo

Green Hippo Ltd joins Hi-Lights Egypt to exhibit at the 14th annual ICT exhibition in Cairo. Adding an entertainment and lighting section for the first time the ICT exhibition attracted visitors from across the globe.

Hi-Lights showcased a 6x7m square booth loaded with LED floors, walls and fixtures. Both large LED screens as well as the fixtures were controlled by Hippotizer HD machines giving Hi-Lights flexibility to run video, photos, logos and even Pong across their booth in real time. With images from multiple shows in Egypt such as “Don’t forget the Lyrics” and “Deal or no Deal” all running from Hippotizer the booth attracted a steady stream of visitors. Hamed Arafa of Hi-Lights stated “This was the first year that a media and entertainment section was added to ICT and the interest in the products we showed confirmed our belief that this is an industry sector that is growing. We were able to show existing customers new Hippotizer features and introduce new customers to the product and we feel that we have definitely generated some new business here”
As exclusive distributors for Egypt and North Africa of Hippotizer products Hi-Lights were keen to see new Hippotizer features such as VideoMapper and ScreenTheif.

A seminar session held by Tom Etra on Hippotizers within a Broadcast Environment was well attended and the feedback from the Egyptian market was very positive. Samantha Bailey said “We made sales at the show and are confident that going forwards with Hi-Lights Hippotizer can only grow in this region” 

Hi-Lights were exhausted after a 2 day load in and party for the Egyptian football team after winning the African Nations Cup which took place right before ICT. They utilised 2 Hippotizer HD units and the short notice of the party meant they took full advantage of the flexibility and ease of use of the Hippotizers.
