Poland December 9th 2008 – Green Hippo join Polish distributor Prolight and lighting manufacturer Robe for Hipposchool on tour.

Held in Warsaw at the famous Capitol Theatre, the event attracted over 80 attendees and was Hipposchools largest event to date.

A champagne reception was followed by presentations by Samantha Bailey and Simon Harris of Green Hippo UK on both Green Hippo as a company and the Hippotizer product range. Green Hippo impressed potential Polish customers with the new ScreenThief application, BeatBridge, ScreenWarp and Timelines amongst others.

The afternoon session consisted of a three hour Hipposchool taster session run by Simon Harris, Green Hippo’s qualified trainer.

The session was attended by key Polish users including one of Polands largest rental companies and several high profile freelance programmers. Simon Harris, Training Manager at Green Hippo stated “Hipposchool was a great success, everyone who attended had lots of questions about applications for the Hippotizer and some were so impressed by the taster session they are planning to fly to the next Hipposchool held in Berlin for more detailed training”

Hippotizers have increased in popularity in Poland in recent months thanks to the hard work of Polish distributor Prolight. Samantha Bailey – Sales Manager for Poland said “We are really pleased to be working with Prolight. They have recently won a tender in Poland using eight Hippotizers and we are confident that following today’s event sales will continue to grow”

Green Hippo was pleased to demonstrate the latest model – The new Hippoportamus, a laptop version ideal for programmers and operators on the move. Offering six layers the Hippoportamus is ideal for operators who need to preprogram shows on the move, as well as for the education market.
