Did you specify the Hippotizer or was it supplied to you? I believe we first specified it for use on John Peel Stage at Glasto in 2008
Have you used other media servers before you encountered Hippotizer? No
Which Model of Hippotizer are you using?
Mostly using the Hippo Critter at the moment
How are you displaying the media?
Varies from job to job but usually working with either projection or various LED screens. Most interesting job to date for me, where I have used Hippo would be last year’s Editors tour (which I know you already have lots of details about!!)
Are you using Pixel Mapper on the project?
Planning to use Pixel mapper again on the next project
What features of the Hippotizer do you like most?
Video mapping has really been a winner for us but overall I really like the easy to use, user-friendly interface! Also zookeeper makes set-up for me on smaller tours really straight forward, so I can park the hippo next to the video racks and I can preview what I’m doing on the desk at FOH.
Also, the thumbnail features when using this with the Chamsys consoles make programming much faster.
