Job Summary

Responsible for increasing Green Hippo product line sales in the Americas and Canada, primarily within the permanent installation and HOW market sectors. Candidate will be solely responsible for meeting quarterly sales targets within these market sectors, and for identifying and building a strong, ongoing customer sales base within them. Candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the Americas’ sales efforts, marketing strategies, and culture.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Achieve revenue growth and gross margin targets for the Americas by:

  • Managing sales to achieve quarterly sales targets
  • Managing channel discounts to achieve GM targets
  • Contributing to existing sales processes, and establishing new business and channel development for the installation and HOW market sectors
  • Managing customer inquiries, quotes, and opportunities to closure
  • Performing on-site client demos and sales calls, and attending trade shows
  • Accurately forecasting sales via effective pipeline management
  • Identifying cost savings and managing expenses and travel budgets


  • Work with the management team on new and existing marketing programs


  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to assess performance against sales targets


  • Experienced in selling media servers within the installation and H.O.W market sectors
  • At least 4 years of sales experience in same or similar industry
  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers, including but not limited to installation designers, integrators, contractors, and content creators
  • Ability to effectively and independently plan and manage time
  • Proven track record in technical sales
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff in a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Experience with sales methodologies and sales funnel management
  • Frequent travel for sales meetings, client demos, and trade shows
  • Existing familiarity with CRM software a plus
