Green Hippo is delighted to announce its agreement with Ampco Flashlight Group. The Utrecht-based outfit – which consists of three principal divisions: rental; sales; and technology – is ideally placed to take real-time video playback technology to venues and practitioners throughout this valuable politico-economic union; one which is home to almost 30 million people.

Green Hippo is a hugely important brand to us and by taking on this market-leading brand for distribution, opens up opportunities in new and innovative markets across the Benelux region. More and more we see video applications being used in all major events and across many vertical markets such as theatre, live performance, installation and broadcast. Ampco Flashlight was created in 2002 when long-time collaborators Ampco and Flashlight officially came together. The merger came on the back of many years of fruitful cooperation between the two firms, and the resulting company has successfully grown from its Dutch roots, now thriving in France and Romania, in addition to its successes in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The Ampco Flashlight Group’s three divisions benefit from close cooperation with each other, bringing together extensive knowledge of operating in live entertainment, theatre, studio and broadcast venues.

Reaching an agreement with Ampco is another major step towards securing and further growing our market position in Europe. For me, the timing of this is of major importance and dovetails nicely with our expansion plans in other territories.
