The manufacturing centre will handle complete system build and stocking, as well as repairs, spare parts and software imaging. The result is that all elements of Hippotizer supply and support for North American is done domestically. Prior to this new move all systems were shipped from Europe.

“The demand for V4 servers in North American territories has grown hugely in the last 18 months.” says Ryan Brown, Hippotizer Product Manager. Our aim was to provide customers in our largest territory with improved delivery and service. So far, we’re seeing a very positive response from our transatlantic customer base.”

Working in conjunction with Green Hippo’s U.S. offices in Glendale California, the company also aims to provide a stronger support network in local time zones. Green Hippo’s UK based support will continue to service other markets but the new facility aims to improve the company’s existing, highly regarded technical support.

“A side benefit of our new facility is that it helps counter any unforeseen import issues that the current changes in government rulings in the UK or the USA might bring.” Say’s Emma Marlow, Green Hippo CEO. “Whilst the decision to open the facility was in no way politically motivated, it might bring comfort to those wishing to continue deploying Hippotizer on shows in North America with confidence, a bonus that we welcome wholeheartedly”
