Welcome to Hippotizer!
Hippotizer combines the flexibility of a real-time media server with the power of a fully integrated 3D workflow. Designed to be intuitive to learn and use, yet powerful and flexible enough for the largest events. Hippotizer’s open structure allows it to be controlled seamlessly from a variety of sources such as Lighting desks, Timelines, show controllers or the Zookeeper Interface. Combined with SHAPE, Hippotizer is a fully configurable 3D media tool box.

Using this manual.
Hippotizer V4 is comprised of three pieces of software with more than a dozen component plugins, presenting a challenge in finding a logical order of explanation. To improve readability, this manual seeks to address functionalities in context of where they appear in the software.
Many sections of Hippotizer and SHAPE are interdependent or appear in multiple places. Videomapper for example is a component with it’s own control interface, but also has selection interfaces in the viewport and layer. Each of these interfaces are explained from the point of view of where it is in the manual — the layer UI explains Videomapper on layer but not the component. Where possible, links to other relevant sections are provided.
If you find a section to be ambiguous or unclear please, leave feedback so that we can fix it.
